OMEL Vortex Pumps<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The OMEL Vortex pump is specifically designed to handle liquids containing suspended solids and viscous fluids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its main distinguishing feature is the recessed impeller (or Vortex impeller), positioned outside the main flow path, providing a clear passage through which particles can pass without causing clogging or premature wear. These pumps are ideal for pumping wastewater with a high concentration of solids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Metering Pumps<\/a> are used for the precise injection of chemical reagents during treatment processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OMEL Roots Blower<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Roots blower<\/a> is a positive displacement lobe compressor designed for low discharge pressure and high-volume flow. It is a robust and versatile piece of equipment used across various industrial sectors in applications requiring a continuous supply of air or gas at low pressure and high volume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roots-type blower<\/a> are essential for the aeration of biological reactors<\/strong> in wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs). They provide air at a constant flow rate and pressure to maintain the microbiological activity responsible for decomposing organic matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are also used for filter backwashing<\/strong> in water treatment plants (WTPs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vacuum pumps<\/a>, as the name suggests, are equipment designed to generate vacuum (or negative pressure) in various systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although they are not directly involved in pumping water or wastewater, they are essential for ensuring the efficient operation of other equipment and systems. They are ideal for priming large centrifugal pumps<\/strong>, facilitating system startup while reducing the risk of cavitation or dry running, which can lead to mechanical problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OMEL Pinch Valve or Tubular Diaphragm Valve<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Pinch valves<\/a> consist of a supporting body, an actuation mechanism, and a rubber tube (or sleeve) that gives the valve its name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Designed for ON-OFF control<\/strong> of wastewater and other liquids containing suspended solids, OMEL pinch valves ensure effective sealing even when handling fluids with a high concentration of suspended particles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their tubular design minimizes the risk of clogging and provides greater durability compared to conventional valves. They also offer low pressure drop due to the full and straight flow passage through the sleeve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
