“Roots” Type Blower SR/OF (Oil Free) and SRT/OF (Oil Free)
The “Roots” SR/OF (Oil Free) and SRT/OF (Oil Free) type blowers constitute a series of machines whose characteristics were defined to meet a variety of industrial processes, where it is absolutely necessary to guarantee the absence of oil in the transported air and therefore in the process it serves.

Project Features
In OMEL blowers, the air compression chamber (or pumping chamber) was completely separated from the only “polluting” part of the pumped air, the bearing housing and the gear housing. Thus, an air chamber between the two sectors was created for the purpose of isolating the pumping chamber. The sealing on the air side was changed, replacing the labyrinths with the current piston rings, which are more efficient in sealing the air in the chamber. The bearings, separated by the air “gap”, are sealed by means of seals, whose operation is improved by the cooling air provided by the air circulation itself in the location. In the event of seal failure, the oil flows through the intermediate chamber, into the atmosphere, eliminating any possibility of it entering the pressure chamber. This guarantees absolutely safe transport of air, free of oil.
